The working logic of TBMs is to draw the eroded soil into itself by the continuous rotation of the head, which is contaminated with soil at the end. These soils are then automatically loaded onto a truck behind the TBM using the moving belt method.

Thanks to TBM, with this practical process that continues throughout the tunnel, countries have started to allocate more budget for their investments in the metro area. TBMs have tunneling diameters ranging from 1 meter to 17.6 meters. Here, the title can also be specially designed depending on the size of the project.

The largest TBM of all time was used at the airport in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, in 2015. TBM, with a diameter of 17.6 meters and a power of 4,900 kW, completed the 10-kilometer airport connection.
